- 50ml Copper Republic Zula XO Cape Brandy
- 5ml Absinthe
- 1 bar spoon Brown Sugar
- 3 dash Angostura Bitters
- Add Absinthe to a chilled Whiskey glass
- Roll the glass until the inside is completely coated. Discard additional Absinthe
- In a mixing glass combine sugar, bitters and brandy and stir until sugar is dissolved
- Fill mixing glass with ice
- Stir for around well for around 20 seconds
- Strain into Absinthe rinsed glass over a single large ice cube or ice ball
- Twist a strip of lemon peel out over the drink and then discard peel
